Cypripedium are shipped all year round usually in their pots (appearance note, they are herbaceous). Carriage is charged at a fixed £15.00 for any number of plants from anywhere in the catalogue. Orders totalling over £100 are exempt from carriage charges.

California Lady's Slipper.
Distribution: Western USA
A clump-formimg orchid carrying up to ten small flowers on each stem. Up to about 1 metre tall. Found naturally in California and Oregon growing in damp spots and on the woodland margins, this species has long been a favourite for alpine house or frame cultivation.

Distribution: China
This lovely yellow orchid is becoming better known outside its native China where it populates diverse habitats, primarily woodland margins and grassland. It grows to around 50 cms. Fully hardy in the UK.

Often known in the trade as C. pubescens this rather variable species has caused the taxonomists some heartburn over the years. Still beautiful, though.
