McBean's Open House Weekends

McBean's Orchids would like to invite you to visit us on one of our themed Open House Weekends when the traditional guided tour of the growing areas will be augmented by demonstrations on topical themes.

Our experienced nurserymen will be on hand to answer your questions and give practical advice whether you are a beginner or experienced grower.

Come and see for yourself the range of orchids you can grow in your own home, garden or greenhouse. The tours and demonstrations are free and there is no need to book. Just turn up and join the next group.

Open Weekend dates:-

Our Open Weekend season runs from November to April. The remaining programme for 2009/10 is scheduled as follows:-

27 & 28 March 2010
Theme: Orchids for beginners - suggestions for 'starter' orchids.

24 & 25 April 2010
Theme: The McBean's guide to orchid repotting

5 & 6 June 2010
Theme: Orchids for your garden

Nursery hours are 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. A warm welcome awaits you.
